Call for masterclasses
Monday 23 – Friday 27 August 2027 · Wageningen, the Netherlands
Wageningen University & Research is delighted to invite you to join us at the fifth edition of the Wageningen Soil Conference. We aim to offer a range of scientific and interactive masterclasses in the afternoons, which was seen as a very valuable part of the 2023 conference. We hereby invite you to submit a proposal for such a masterclass.
Masterclasses – the idea
Masterclasses are an excellent way to show and share your research, expertise and new tools or methods in an interactive way or to discuss emerging topics and promising research agendas. Note that they should not be regular (one-way) lectures.
Examples:
- Hands-on tutorial of a soil model
- Laboratory training
- Field demonstration
- Topical discussions
What we offer
- Facilities: (class)rooms, PC facilities, laboratory facilities, field sites
- Workshops may take up to 3 hours
What we need to know from you
Please fill out the online form by 11 December 2026, which includes:
- Title and short (max 150 words) description of your masterclass
- Maximum number of participants that you can host
- Room requirements and material that you need for the masterclass
You will hear whether your workshop can be hosted or not on 5 February 2027 at the latest.
